… (with my camera) and it feels so good…
I no longer have a legitimate excuse “dress up” exercise attire (I did that a whole lot last week).
I forgot about these pix. Since it’s gloomy, and wet outside, they seem appropriate. More appropriate than my jolly (slightly drunken) Mardi Gras snaps. Unfortunately, those didn’t turn out so good, but I look forward to sharing what’s salvageable manana.
FYI: Hunter wellies (rain boots) are the best. I thought I’d regret buying black, but I don’t… at all. They’re perfectly suited for my leopard print umbrella. If only I had a classic khaki (Burberry) trench…
Sweater: Jessica Stam for Rachel Roy (last year), Sweater II: J.Crew, Shorts & Necklace: Forever 21, Tights: Target, Boots: Hunter, Bracelets: Wendy Mignot, & Forever 21, Glasses: Sama, Lipstick: Revlon’s “Kiss Me Coral”
About those Oscars… not gonna lie, I fell asleep about a hour into the show, but I woke up on my sofa around midnight, and glossed over (fast forwarded through) the “big” awards. I haven’t seen The Artist, but I assumed it would snag best picture (old Hollywood theme, duh). I loved Meryl’s speech, I got a little teary during Octavia’s, Jean Dujardin said “fuck “ in French, Brad Pitt has highlights, and I’m fairly certain that JLo had nip slip.
My favorite red carpets looks, in no particular order, are as follows: Gwynnie (simple, streamlined, stoic), Emma Stone (so, so chic in chiffon), Mila Jojovich, Natalie Portman (vintage Dior dots. Swoon), and Tina Fey (peplum perfection).
